The Day is Coming to the Community!
Disability Resources Agency for Independent Living's (DRAIL) First Annual Disability Awareness Day is coming on October 17th, 2023, at the Modesto Centre Plaza. DRAIL is the state designated Independent Living Center through the CA Department of Rehabilitation serving individuals with disabilities in six of California's counties (Tuolumne, Calaveras, Amador, Mariposa, Stanislaus, and San Joaquin Counties).
Our mission statement is to partner with individuals with disabilities, their families, and their support teams to increase their independence, advocate for their rights, and create fully inclusive communities. With our partners, we hope to build a successful and substantial event this upcoming fall to provide information and resources to individuals of all ages and with all types of disabilities in our community.
